After a short illness, Roger hung up his helmut and hopples for the final time, surrounded by his loving family.

Devoted and cherished husband of 60 years of Helen.

Proud & much loved Father/Mentor/Father-in-law of John and Katrina, Grant and Janaya, David and Amelia.

Special ‘Roger’ of his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Emilia, Harriet and Angus, Sam, Josh, William and Tim, Charlie and Azalyia, Ada and Ralph, and Frankie.

At Roger’s request, a private service has been held.

With tangerine and royal blue silks fluttering behind pounding hooves, Roger took his final lap before being laid to rest in the St John’s Cemetery, Waikiwi.

Roger and Family wish to acknowledge the wonderful care received from Hospice and his medical teams.
