Aged 81, of Te Anau.

Passed away peacefully at home on the morning of Monday 25 April, 2022.

Loved and devoted wife of the late John.

Loved eldest daughter of the late Ned and Margaret Smith (Queensberry).

Cherished by all her children and their spouses, Stuart and Kazuko (Lake Hayes Estate), Diane and Roy Traies (Timaru), the late Alistair (Anatori), Carolyn and the late Lawrence Pei (Te Anau), Leonie and Peter Thomas (Rangiora).

Loved Gran of her many beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Best Big Sister to Brenda Hayes, the late Leicester, Neville, Irene Weaver, Melvyn, and their spouses.

A private cremation was held on Wednesday 27 April.

Friends and family are warmly invited to a memorial garden party at 20 McKerrow Street, Te Anau, on Wednesday 4 May from 10am to 3pm.
