Peacefully on Wednesday, 16 March, 2022, at Earnest Rutherford Rest Home, Nelson, surrounded by family.

Aged 89.

Deeply cherished wife of the late George.

Loved mother and mother-in-law of Anna and Tim McNamara (Weston), Barry and Sharon (Arrowtown) and Terry and Shona (Nelson).

Much loved grandmother of Monique, Wade, Daniel, Michael, Jaime, Chelsea, Anderson, Emma, and Isaac.

Also loved great-grandmother of Holly, Jessica, Pyper, Frankie, Mio, Lincoln, and Alexander.

A family graveside service has been held in accordance with Val’s wishes.
