We sadly announce the sudden passing of Colleen.

Aged 71 years.

On Thursday 1st August 2024 after a courageous battle following illness at Southland Hospital, Invercargill.

Beloved wife of Forrester Norman.

Cherished mother and mother-in-law of Christopher and Christy, Matthew and Anthony, Philip and Eve, Margot, and Alison and Craig.

Loving grandmother (Nana) to Tilly, Jonty, Indiana, and Madison.

Her siblings and in-laws will deeply miss her: Danny and Anne Young, Margaret and Bernie Brown, Bruce and Rosemary Young, and Ashley Cummings.

She was a treasured aunt to her nephews and nieces Antoinette, Paul, Louise, Dominic, Luke, Hannah, Laura, Amy, Olivia, and Tere.

 She had many special friendships through nursing, the Catholic Church, and school, and was loved by all. 

A funeral service will be held at St Mary’s Basilica, Tyne Street, Invercargill at 10.30am on Wednesday 7th August.

A private burial will take place after that.
