Sadly, Jim passed away on Friday 6th October surrounded by family at Bupa Ascot Care Home.

Loving husband of the late Jan Mortimer.

Much loved father and father-in-law of Lisa, Rachael, Kim, David and Jess.

Devoted Grandad and Da to Sofia and Josiah, Maddy, Noah and Gabe, Ella, Jacob and Mikayla.

Loved and respected brother of Kevin, Margaret and Kayleen as well as many nieces and nephew.

Precious son of Jim and Kath.

Treasured friend of Alex.

Jim will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.

A service to celebrate Jim’s rich life will be held in the Avenal Park Funeral Home, 75 Fox Street, Invercargill, on Wednesday, 11th October at 1:00pm followed by a wake at The Ave Sports Bar, Avenal Street after a private cremation.
