Passed peacefully and in her usual dignified manner supported by her closest family and the caring staff of Windsor Park, Gore.

Dearly loved wife of the late Tom.

Adored mum and mum-in-law of Steven and Lindy (Gore), Fiona and Wayne Turipa (Rotorua) and doting Nana of Jur’nee.

Only daughter of the late Naomi and Gavin Gerken and much-loved sister of George and the late Lois (Gore).

Cherished aunty of Sandra and Paul Chrystall and family (Perth), Darryl and Kerry Gerken and family (Gore).

Admired sister-in-law and aunty of all her Monaghan nieces and nephews.

Special friend of Helen Seaton and Diane Svensson. 

In accordance with Ethel’s wishes a private celebration of her life will be held on Wednesday 3 March.
