Sadly, passed away in the care of Vickery Court Rest Home on Saturday 30th November 2024.

Aged 95 years.

Loved wife of the late Bob McMurdo.

Loved mother and mother-in-law of Ian and Kerri, and Bridgette (Perth), Wayne, Robert “Bob” and Kerry, and Lisa*.

Loved and cherished grandmother of Kelsey and Wes, and Jamie (Perth), and adored great grandmother of Ellie.

Much loved sister of May* Tapper, and Rosalie* Taylor.

The family would like to thank all the wonderful staff and caregivers at Vickery Court, and a special thanks to Surami and also Merle for her regular visits.

Sylvia’s wish was to have a private cremation with no fuss, no flowers by request.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
