After a courageous battle with COPD on Wednesday 28 April 2021, at Ascot Care Home and with family by her side.

Dearly loved sister and sister-in-law of Alistair and Heather, and Doug and Gail McLeod.

Loved aunty of Debbie Hodges, Donna Smith, Jacinda Reid, Carla Fisher, and Brad McLeod.

Loved and respected grand aunty to her eight grand nieces and nephews.

A very special friend of Xavier Reid.

A service for Joan will be held in the Avenal Park Chapel, 75 Fox Street Invercargill on Monday 3 May at 2.00pm, private cremation to follow.

In lieu of flowers donations to Hospice Southland would be appreciated and may be left at the service.

Joan’s family would like to thank the staff of Bupa Ascot Care home for their care and consideration shown to Joan over the last four months in particular.
