Suddenly at home on 9th August 2025, Noel finally hung up his high viz and kicked off his boots for the last time.

Aged 76.

Dearly loved soulmate of 52 years of Annette.

Treasured, respected, and much-loved father and father-in-law of Toni McIntyre and Brent De Bres, Glen and Paula, Leah and Brent McDowall, and James and Amy.

Adored Grandad Noel of Logan and Hannah, Campbell and Pip; Fletcher, and Keira McDowall; Lillie and Hayden, Phoebe and Finn, Summer and Hunter.

Loved brother and brother-in-law, loved uncle of his nieces and nephews, and a good bugger and friend to many.

A service for Noel will be held on Friday, 15th August at Transport World, Tay Street, Invercargill, commencing at 1.00 pm.
