Mary Matthews, daughter of William and Frances Lobb of Edendale, was born on May 16th, 1923 and passed away peacefully at Peacehaven Village on the December 18th, 2020.

She is an older sister to Maisie (Alfred Aydon*) and Clara Lobb*; wife Roger Matthews* and sister-in-law to Elizabeth (Betty) (Vincent Steel*) and Lena* (Harry Bedwell*).

She is survived by her daughter Lilian (Steve Birmingham) and granddaughters Tiana and Kiri, along with her nieces and nephews and their families.

Mary became a mum to boys she and Roger fostered, especially to Ken (Pauline) Summers and Ian (Marijke) Cuthbertson and a grandma to their families. 

Her funeral will take place at the Doon Street Seventh Day Adventist Church on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at 1pm followed by burial in the Edendale cemetery.
