Our beloved Ted slipped peacefully away on Sunday 15th September 2024.

He died at home with family at his side, as he wished.

He has gone to be with his dearly loved Marion whom he missed so much.

He had a wonderful 100 years, we will miss him terribly.

Dearly loved son of the late Bridget and Nicholas Maloney.

Much loved father and father in law of Anne, Kevin and Andrea, Catherine and Paul, Mary and Chris, and Paul.

Much loved and adored Grandfather of Edmund, Sophie, Nicholas, Lee and Ana.

Loved brother and brother in law of Father Pat Maloney, Mary* and Paul* Ryan, Nellie* and Lance* Riddell, Kathleen* (SR Aquin SMSM), Margaret* and Cyril* Kubala, Nicholas* Maloney, Edward* and Margaret Rooney, Margaret* and Rupert* Hyland, Denis and Gloria* Rooney, Philip* and Bernie Rooney, Kathleen and Jim* Buckham.

Loved uncle of all his nieces and nephews.

Requiem Mass will be celebrated in St Theresa of Lisieux Church, Perth Street, Invercargill on Wednesday 18th September 2024 at 1.30pm. Interment at Eastern Cemetery will follow.

Rosary will be held on Tuesday 17th September, 7pm at 181 Layard Street, Invercargill – everyone welcome.

Family sincerely thank Dr Robert Bester, Good Partners and the District Nurses for their wonderful care on Ted’s final journey.
