Jonathan was one of life’s characters, and he bought so much love, laughter and joy to our family.
He lives on through his beautiful daughter and we are blessed to have her in our lives.
We have been humbled by the kindness and generosity of family, friends and in particular Jono’s amazing mates and his work colleagues.
At the time of his passing we appreciated all the support by way of food, flowers, cards, phone calls, texts, emails and not forgetting all the gifts, soft toys and dolls for Athena.
Jonathan was a young man who touched so many lives, in so many ways and during the visits we loved hearing the stories of the things he used to get up to, and we enjoyed the laughter and the sharns.
Memories are a wonderful thing and we thank you all for sharing your memories with us.
Please don’t be strangers, feel free to pop in and share more sharns and visit with Athena.
She was a lucky girl to have so many Uncles and Aunties.
To Jono’s amazing friends that pitched in at the working bee- the biggest thank you- you guys give a whole new meaning to what true friends are!
We would also like to thank the NZ Police and acknowledge all those who helped on that tragic night and for the wonderful support in the days following.
A special thank you to the Police Kaumatua for the karakia of the crash site.
Also to Ross and Nicky at J Fraser & Son’s, thank you for working so hard to get Jonathan home with us, we will be forever grateful for that.
“Being cared for in heaven by his Father and Nanny, and sharing a sharn with whoever will listen”
With our gratitude and thanks
Debbie & Dave, Rebecca & Dale, Catherine & Craig and families and above all precious wee Athena.
