Peacefully at Southland Hospital on Tuesday 24 February, 2026.

Cherished wife and roommate of John*.

Dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of Matthew*, Nelson, George and Rebel, Sharon and Puddy, William and Rachael, Kelly, Christine and Tawhi, Raha and Ranui.

Adored Nanni Kay and great Nanni Kay of all her grandchildren and great grandchildren

A service to celebrate Kay’s life will be held in the Gore Town and Country Club Stadium, 2 Bury Street, Gore on Monday 2 March at 1.00pm.

Followed by interment at Charlton Park cemetery to be reunited with John and their adored eldest son Matt.

Kay will be resting at the Te Whanau a Hokonui Marae, 11 Hyde Street, Gore, if you wish to pay your respects.
