Early evening on May 23, 2024, passing on his terms peacefully, but quickly after a long battle.

Lindsay finally gets the decent sleep he wanted with daughter Jodi and his three grandsons by his side, Clint and Katt just moments away at Southland Hospital.

Much loved and cherished husband of Pauline* for 45 years lasting a little over a year without her.

Beyond treasured Pa of Jodi and Clint & Katt and ‘hi five’ Granddad of Ashton, Dane and Trent.

Loved son of Hector* and Gladys*, brother of Eric, Mavis, Graham and Janice.

Brother in law to many on both sides.

Uncle to his nieces and nephews and extended family.

Good friend to Joesph and Hillary.

Special thanks to Haidee and her team from Hospice, St John staff and Southland Hospital staff.

Finally able to breathe easy again.

A service to celebrate Lindsay’s life will be held in the Five Rivers Hall on Friday, May 31 at 11.00am.
