Aged 69 years.

Was born on 18th June 1952 in Invercargill and passed away on 6th October 2021 in Invercargill.

He bravely fought his battle with Multiple System Atrophy (MSA), which took him from us too soon.

A gold miner, hard case, rugged mountain man; a loving and patient father, grandfather and great grandfather; an expert in his field of engineering and inventing; a resourceful hunter and fisherman; a bloke who was born of a different time.

Born free.

He will be greatly missed by his daughters Ann, Natasha, Amanda, Joanna, and Sandra, his life companions Lily and Jo, his grandchildren George, Edward, Alfie, Poppy, Theo, Jai, Tae-Ana, Tamara, Nikora, Te-Awhimate, Maru, Keanu, and great grandchildren Tawera, Kahlia, and Te Reia, and his extensive family.

The funeral will be held on Tuesday, 12th October at 2pm, at Avenal Park Funeral Home.

Due to COVID restrictions, the service is limited to 100 people and will be by invitation only.
