Peacefully with her loving family by her side on Saturday, 21st September 2024 and in the care of Hospice Southland.

Dearly loved wife and soulmate of Colin.

Cherished and loved mother of Brad and Misty, and Kylie and Shane and adored Nani of Dylan and Shakaia, Matt and Emily, Zane, Tori, Kara, and Mikaere.

Much loved daughter of Cyril* and Alberta McKay and loved daughter-in-law of Ken* and Rata* Johnson.

Loved sister of Debbie and Kevin, Trevor and Kelly, and Lyndal*.

A loved aunt of all her nieces and nephews and best mate of Sue.

A service to celebrate Karen’s life will be held in the Avenal Park Chapel, 75 Fox Street, Invercargill on Thursday, 26th September at 1:00pm, the service will conclude with the committal at the Southland Crematorium.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice Southland would be appreciated and may be left at the service.
