This is a 3-4 day hiking track which includes both forest and alpine sections, and passes by the shores of Lakes Te Anau and Manapouri.

Fantastic views of Lake Te Anau can be had from the peak of Mt Luxmore.

NB: Always consult with a Department of Conservation Visitor Centre before entering a National Park or Conservation Area.
