In Loving Memory of Mieke Hesson

After a long and courageous battle with cancer, Mieke passed away peacefully in her sleep, a gentle smile on her face, comforted by the thought of being reunited with dearly missed family and friends.

Beloved and devoted wife of Paul Hesson.

Cherished mother and mother-in-law of Emily and Killian, Mike and Charmaine, and the late Karl and Simone.

Adored Oma of Caywood, Jarreau, Holly, Charlotte, Olympia, Orla, Darcie, and Tommy.

Proud great-grandmother of Bailey.

Deeply loved by her brothers, sister, in-laws, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, and her many treasured friends.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff at Hospice Invercargill and Vickery Court for their outstanding care and compassion during Mieke’s final days.

A celebration of Mieke’s life will be held at the Riversdale Community Centre at 1:00 pm on Friday, 27th June, followed by a committal at the Riversdale Cemetery.
