Head Injury Society of Southland Inc is a not-for-profit organisation set up in 1989 to meet the needs of Southlanders affected by head injuries and to enable quality of life, which maximizes potential choice and independence for them and their families.

We will advocate for them with ACC and WINZ doctors to enable them to receive all the necessary rehabilitation to ensure they have the best recovery possible.

We provide support and information and educate on the effects and prevention of head injuries.

We work with all sectors of the Community providing information, education, support and advocacy (when requested/needed).
