It is with much sadness and after a brief illness, Cam passed away on Saturday 22 March 2025, at Southland Hospital in the presence of his family.

Loved husband of Ruth.

Beloved husband of the late Anita (Iremonger).

Treasured and loved Dad to Bronwyn & Gordon Carran (Invercargill), Susan & Andy Pennington (Texas, USA) and the late Darren Hawes.

Much loved Grandad Cam to Annaleise, Ryan, Alexandra, Avery, Harrison.

Friend and Stepdad to Michael and Angela Matheson, Julie and Graeme Irvine, and their families.

The family would like to thank the wonderful staff of the CCU and Medical Unit at Southland Hospital for their care of Cam.

According to Dad’s wishes, a private cremation has taken place, and he has been laid to rest in the Eastern Cemetery with Mum and Darren.
