Peacefully with his loving wife Jillian by his side, at their home in Invercargill, on Saturday, 3rd May, 2025.

Loved husband and best friend of Jillian.

Loved Father and father-in-law of Corey and Stacey Haira (Brisbane), Adrian Haira (Auckland).

Loved Poppy of Keahn, Tahj, and Jax.

Loved Son of the late Donald Hotene Haira and the late Anaha Mary Haira (Peterson). 

Loved Brother to Leonard and Sara, the late Kiri & Tim, the late Nuki, Anu & Richard, Lance and Keri, Noi and Wayne, Lissa and Sale, Rihari and Melissa, Marina and Clinton.

Loved son–in–law of Lindsay, Gwenda and Victor.

Loved Brother-in-law of Robyne and Kevin.

A loved Uncle & Cousin.

Donations for St John Ambulance, Invercargill, would be gratefully received and can be made at the service. 

Julian will be resting at Macdonald and Weston Funeral Home until his service.

Loved ones are welcome to pay their respects. 

A service to celebrate Julian’s life will be held in the New Life Church, Bluff, on Saturday, 10th May at 12 noon, followed by an interment at the Eastern Cemetery, Invercargill.
