Peacefully at Hospice Southland, on Sunday, 11 September 2022.

Aged 78 years.

Very much loved husband of the late Linda.

Loved Dad and father-in-law of Robert and Raewyn (Wyndham), Margaret and Phillip (Mataura), Marie and Ajay (Balfour), Richard and Lisa (Mataura).

Doting Grandad and Pops of 19 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

A service to celebrate Ernie’s life will be held in Southern Funeral Home Chapel, 106 Hokonui Drive, Gore, on Friday, 16 September at 1pm, followed by interment at Charlton Park Cemetery.

Donations to Cancer Society NZ and Hospice Southland can be left at the service.
