Very unexpectedly at Parata Rest Home Gore, latterly of Invercargill.

Mum finally got her wish, and passed very peacefully on Sunday 8th May 2022, aged 92 years.

Dearly loved mum and Val of Shona and Norman Welsh (Riversdale), and Debbie and Trevor Willetts (Tuatapere).

Much loved and loving Nan of Craig and Catherine Welsh, the late Aimee, and Hayley and Evan Orr.

Treasured Gran of Sheldon and Travis Welsh; Kimberly, Jacklyn, Leroy and Marcus Orr.

A very special thanks to the staff at Parata for their kindness during mum’s short stay.

In lieu of flowers donations to St John would be greatly appreciated and can be left at the service.

A farewell for Valmai will be held on Thursday 12th May 2022, 1.30pm, J Fraser and Sons Chapel, Corner of Esk and Doon Streets, Invercargill.

A private cremation will follow.
