Of Stewart Island.

Died surrounded by family after a brave battle with cancer.

Aged 84.

Loved and treasured by the late Jeanette, wife Donna Goomes, children Tony Gomez, Donna Fry, Doug Gomez, and their families.

Loved brother of Wendy Hallett, Rosemary Taiaroa, Michael Goomes, Simon Gomez, and extended whanau.

A service to celebrate Peter’s life will be held in J Fraser & Sons’ Chapel, cnr Esk and Doon Streets, Invercargill on Wednesday 31 August at 11am.

A memorial service on Stewart Island will follow at a later date.

Heartfelt thanks to Southland Hospital and Hospice Southland for their loving care.

In lieu of flowers donations to the Cancer Society would be appreciated and can be made at the service or online.
