Peacefully at his Townhouse in Rowena Jackson Village, Invercargill on Tuesday 16 August 2022.

Aged 97 years.

Loved husband of the late Isobel.

Loved father and father-in-law of Margaret and Dave Eaton (Christchurch), Christine and Hamish Leckie (Dunsdale Valley), Marie Kennedy (Napier), Juliet Gillick and Marty Wood (Napier), Kathryn and Barry Hollings (Waimatuku).

Loved Grandad of his 14 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

A Requiem Mass for Mervyn will be held in Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 449 North Road, Invercargill on Wednesday 24 August at 11am, followed by private interment at Eastern Cemetery.

No flowers by request.
