It is with very heavy hearts that Susan’s family announces the passing of their beautiful Susan on the morning of Thursday, the 5th of February 2026.

After a week of bravely fighting in Southland Hospital, her condition deteriorated quickly, and she decided that it was time to go.

She is now back home with James, Louie, and the cats, surrounded by her loved ones.

Susan was a deeply loved wife, mother, and friend to so many.

Thank you all for the thoughts, prayers, messages, and phone calls.

They have not gone unnoticed.

Susan knew just how loved she was right up until the very end.

A celebration of Susan’s life will be held at the Southland Crematorium on Wednesday, the 11th of February, at 11.00 am.

Everyone is most welcome.

Susan is resting at home with us, and anyone who would like to visit is asked to please give us a call first.
