Peacefully on 8th August 2021 after a short illness at his home, surrounded by his family.

Aged 93 years.

Dearly loved husband and soul mate of the late Natalie. 

Loved father and father-in-law of Kevin and Gae; the late Gary and Val; Colin and Joanne.

Loved and respected Granddad of Shelley, Leanne, and Nicole; Rachel, and Claire; the late Kirsten, and Kelsi.

Great granddad of Blake, and Arabella; Harry, and Charlie.

A graveside service for Des will be held at 2pm, Friday 13th 2021 at the Lynwood Cemetery, Te Anau.

Following the service there will be a gathering to celebrate Des’ life at the Te Anau Club, Te Anau at 3pm.
