Passed away peacefully after a short illness, in the tender care of the staff at Southland Hospital.

Loved husband of the late Beth.

Loved step-father of Bruce Stevens (Melbourne), Graham and Denise Stevens (Invercargill), Geoff and Dot Stevens (Five Rivers), Marie and John Woolnough (Taupo), and loved by all his grandchildren.

Russell was a loved brother and brother-in-law of his family in Christchurch; Lorna and Norm*, Morrie* and May*, Val and Graham*, Lois and Des*, Brian and Jannette, Janice and Gavin, Paulene, Colin and Mary, Lester and Maria, Ian* and Dianne, Chris and Chris, Raelene and Dave.

A private service has been held.
