Passed peacefully on Monday 1 January, 2024.

Aged 94.

Loved husband of the late Irene.

Much loved Dad of Jane and Lindsay (Brisbane), Neil and Philippa (Forest Hill), Anne and Ian (Alexandra), Kerry and Ward (Alexandra), Jacqui and Mark (Dunedin).

Loved Grand Rod of Claudia, Liam, and Gianna Gillies; Grace, Henry, and Lochie Earland; Etta, and Billie Grant; Giordyn, Rosheen, and Steffi Moss; Jay, and Thea Davis.

Also Great Grand Rod of Aurelia.

Loved brother of the late Valerie Portman (Nelson), and Audrey Le Roy (Timaru).

Respected Uncle of all his nieces and nephews.

In accordance with Rod’s wishes a private family service has been held.

Sincere thanks to Dr Rambukwelle and to the staff at Rowena Jackson Retirement Village for their loving care of Rod.
