Peacefully, after a short illness, at Southland Hospital.

Dearly loved husband of Penney and much loved father and father-in-law to Rex, Brian, Christene and Richie, Granddad to Tristan.

Loved son of *Jack and *Katie and brother to Norman (Auckland).

A service for John will be held in Avenal Park Funeral Home, 75 Fox Street, Invercargill, on Thursday, 15 April at 1.30pm.

The family are grateful for the care and compassion given by the staff at Southland Hospital.
