Peacefully with her loving family by her side at Calvary Rest Home, Invercargill on Monday, 17th June 2024.

In her 96th year.

Dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of Margaret and Ken Cochran (Alexandra), Trish and Roger Shaw (Wallacetown), Kathleen Rillstone (Perth), and Michael Dowling.

A cherished Grandmother and Great Grandmother of all her Grandchildren.

A loved sister, sister-in-law, cousin and aunt of all her extended family.

A Requiem Mass to celebrate Rita’s life will be held in the St. Patrick Catholic Church, Rimu Street, Invercargill on Saturday, 22nd June at 10:30am.

The service will conclude with the burial at the Eastern Cemetery.
