Passed peacefully in the loving care of the staff at Resthaven on Wednesday June 5,2024 with Shirley at his side.

Loved and respected husband for 65 years of Shirley.

Loved and treasured farther and father-in-law of Susan*, Evan and Dawn (Queensland), Robynne and Trevor Hayward (Rolleston).

Adored and respected grandad and great grandad of his grandchildren.

A service to celebrate John’s life of utter fulfillment will be at the Gore RSA, Fred Cooper Room, on Wednesday June 12 at 1.30 pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Gore St John Ambulance would be gratefully appreciated.
