Passed away on Friday August 5, 2022 at Clutha Views Lifecare Village (Balclutha).

Aged 88 years.

Dearly loved husband of the late Doreen Deans.

Dearly loved dad of Lloyd (Christchurch), Lex (Nelson), Warren and the late Kaye Beattie (Mataura).

Much loved and cherished grandad and great grandad of all his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A service to celebrate Alex’s life will be held in the Mataura RSA, River Street, Mataura on Wednesday August 10 at 2.00pm then leaving for the Mataura Cemetery.
