Peacefully on Wednesday 16 June 2021 with family by her side at Rowena Jackson Retirement Village.

In her 90th year.

Dearly loved wife of the late Mervyn.

Loved and cherished mother and mother-in-law of Russell and Donna (Blenheim), Barbara,* Linda and John* Stalker (Castlerock).

Devoted nana of Amanda (Napier), Mark and Maxine Stalker (Lumsden), Michelle and Geoff McElrea (Wanaka), Brad and Sarah Stalker (Duntroon), Jackie and Bevan Jones (Hedgehope).

Special and adored nana Vora of her great grandchildren; Jack, Charlotte, Ted, Hadley, Lochy, Fred, Sid, Matilda, Charlie, Max, and Isla.

A service to celebrate Mavora’s life will be held in the Avenal Park Chapel 75 Fox Street, Invercargill on Saturday 19th June at 10am.

Mavora’s family would like to thank her second family - the staff of Rowena Jackson Retirement Village for their wonderful care of Mavora and her family.
