Peacefully on Friday, 11 June 2021, after a courageous battle, surrounded by his loving whanau and mokopuna; aged 73 years.

Dearly loved husband of Rena.

Much loved father and father-in-law of Paddy and Nadine, Ariana and Dan, Ngawara and Kevin, Jonathan and Katie, and Nicholas.

Loved Poua of all his mokopuna.

Loved son of the late Margaret.

Loved brother of Robert, Ronnie, and the late Margaret.

A loved brother-in-law and uncle of all his nieces and nephews, and a treasured friend to many.

A service for John will be held in Te Rau Aroha Marae, cnr Henderson and Bradshaw Streets, Bluff, on Tuesday 15 June at 11am followed by private cremation.
