Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family at Southland Hospital, on Thursday 24th July 2025.

Aged 81 years.

Much loved husband of Chris (Christine) Currie.

Father and father-in-law of Rachel and Graeme, Grant and Ally, Simon and Kate.

Proud and loving Grandfather of Mia, Eila, Ben, Katie, and Max.

Cherished brother and brother-in-law.

 As per John’s wishes’ a private service will be held.

Special thanks must go to the First Responders, St John Ambulance, Fire Service, A&E and Critical Care Teams at the Southland Hospital.
