Peacefully after a long courageous battle, with family by his side, on Thursday 4th April 2024.

In his 78th year.

Dearly loved husband and loyal friend to Kaye.

Loving and supportive father and father-in-law of the late Brandon, Jane and Grant Milne, Greg and Sharon, Kate and Chris McIlwick.

Proud and caring poppy of Emily, Harrison, Mackenzie, Brandon, Abbey, Caitlyn, Bailey, Mason, Jamie, Jessie Mae.

Son of the late Brandon (Bill) and the late Mavis.

Loved brother and brother-in-law of Bruce and Deborah, Barbara and Gerry, Peter and Olwyn Bailey, the late Barry.

Loved uncle to all his nieces and nephews.

Loyal cobber to many.

A service to celebrate Russell`s life will be held at Club Southland 115 Leet Street, Invercargill on Wednesday 10th April 2024 at 1 pm followed by a private cremation.

Donations to Hospice Southland would be gratefully accepted and can be made at the service.
