Passed away at Rowena Jackson – Donovan Wing with family by her side, on Tuesday 13 January 2026.

89 years young.

Dearly loved wife of *John Cosgrove.

Loved wife of *Paddy Brown.

Loved mother and mother-in-law of Carol and Pepi Pikia, Paddy and Juliet Brown, Sharon Brown, Murray and Michelle Cosgrove, Rex and Gina Cosgrove.

Loved Nana, Nan nan of all her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Loved daughter of *George and *Irene Kennedy.

A service to celebrate Carol’s life will be held on Saturday, January 17, at the J Fraser & Sons Chapel, corner of Esk and Doon Streets, Invercargill at 10.00am.

Followed by the interment at Eastern Cemetery.

Carol's family wish to sincerely thank the staff of Donovan Wing for their devoted care of Carol and her family.
