Died at Southcare Resthome and Hospital, Dunedin on Friday, 8th of September 2023.

Dearly loved son of Nola and the late Ted.

Loved brother of Mark (Auckland), Louise and Greg Olsen (Wellington), Justine (Dunedin), Adrienne and Logan Smith (Whanganui).

Cherished uncle of Monique, Timothy and Reuben Smith.

Loved nephew of Barby* and Charlie* Giles, Barry and Judy Guthrie, Kathleen and Russell Scott, Tom and Roz Cavanagh, and Frances Law.

Loved by his many cousins. 

Deep thinker, champion for the planet, he fought the good fight.

A Requiem Mass to celebrate Shaun's life in the St Theresa's Church, Perth Street, Invercargill on Monday the 18th September at 1.30pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Otago Region of Brain Injury New Zealand.
