Born 1st August 1928, Iris passed peacefully on 7th September 2024.

Aged 96 years.

The beloved wife of the late John Burns.

Dearly loved mum of Bruce and Marie Meachen, Stuart and Chui Chui Meachen.

Grandmother to her nine grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.

She outlived her dearly loved brothers, Andy, Darrell & Lionel and sisters Gay, Colona & Lila.

Loved aunty to Lyn and a great friend to Jenny.

A private cremation has been held.
