Peacefully after a short illness at Southland Hospital on Tuesday 20 January 2026.

Aged 73 years.

Dearly loved wife of William (Bill)* Brown.

Extremely loved and cherished Mum and mother-in-law of Bevan and Julie, Heath* and Jackie, Diane and Nathan Jerry.

Deeply loved Granny of Maigan, Ben, Joseph, Riley*, Samuel, Billy, and Mila.

A loved sister, sister-in-law, aunty and friend.

A service to celebrate Mary’s life will be held in the Avenal Park Chapel, 75 Fox Street Invercargill on Friday 23 January at 10.00am, private interment to follow.
