Sadly, we announce the passing of Ray on 10 January 2025, formally of Alexandra.

Loved son of Muriel* and Gordon* Beker.

Loved husband of Pepita Beker.

Loved dad of Natasha (Perth), Jarna (Mataura).

Brother and brother-in-law of Daphne and Cyril* Atkin, Madeline and John* Hone, Darwin* and Noelene Beker, Colleen and Robin Mahoney, Esta and Ken Connell, Isabell and Victor Sadlier (Perth), Irene and Barry* Matangi, Gordon and Kohu Beker (Brisbane), Ina and Poko* Tuatai (Rarotonga), and Patricia and Ray Ruffell.

A burial of Ray’s ashes will be held at the Southland Crematorium, Garden of Rest on Sunday 3 August 2025, at 10:30am.
