Charlie passed suddenly, but peacefully at Rowena Jackson Retirement Village in Invercargill on September 10, 2023.

Aged 85 years.

Loved father and father-in-law of Melissa and Michael (Te Anau).

Loved husband of the late Betty.

Respected and loved brother of John Barry (Westport) and Elena Barry (Australia).

A celebration of Charlie’s life will be held at the Te Anau Club on Friday, September 22 at 11.00am.

Our heartfelt thanks to the Fiordland Medical Practice, the team at St John Ambulance and the District Health Nurses in Te Anau for all their care and support while Charlie was still at home.

We would also like to extend our thanks to the staff at Rowena Jackson, Hospice Southland and Dawn Acker.
