2-8 September is Te Wiki Tiaki Ao Tūroa / Conservation Week

This Conservation Week, Invercargill Public Library is teaming up with Environment Southland.

Come on into the library to participate in some fun activities!

Learn how to re-pot native totara seedlings into larger pots.

Then, take the seedling home and continue to let it grow bigger before planting it into the ground.

Meet some of Environment Southland team and learn more about the mighty Totara tree.

Also take part in our Conservation Week Scavenger hunt, running from Saturday the 31st of August until Sunday the 8th of September 2024, the or check out some books on our native wildlife.
