True in Nature offer QUALITY learning experiences and holiday programmes outside IN NATURE with a variety of programmes for 5-16 year olds and families.

Our Bushcraft and Survival Programmes are not for the feint hearted but for those who love to be outside, exploring and discovering nature, climbing trees, getting dirty, challenging their fire starting and shelter building skills as well as adventuring in the local Bush, Beach and our Estuaries.

Our environmentally conscious Arts and Crafts programme is for those who love to explore a variety of art forms using quality products and only natural materials.

Also based in a special location in nature.

Children are guaranteed to return home feeling fulfilled, invigorated, inspired and healthily tired!

We have three day experiences or one day experiences or mix and match and try them all!

OUR BUSHCRAFT PROGRAMMES: will include most of the following depending on the venue, group’s needs, group dynamics and of course the weather and season!!

There will be variation each day.

- Fire starting* and cooking on fire (*only available at certain locations) - Cooking on gas stoves - Knife work, whittling, carving - Shelter Building - Bush exploration, navigation, orienteering - Foraging - Survival skills - Learning about animals and plants and more

Our THREE DAY adventures: Where children have two days to learn and master essential bushcraft skills at different locations that are then put to the test on the third day in the ultimate survival challenge!

CHILD vs WILD (3 days, not overnight) for 7-12 year olds - 8th -10th July - Invercargill

TEEN vs WILD (3 days, not overnight) for 11-16 year olds - 15th -17th July - Invercargill

OUR NATURAL CREATORS Programme for 5-16 year olds.

We believe that every child is an artist at heart and we are here to nurture their inner creator, ignite their imagination and bring their creativity to life by offering natural materials and earth inspired projects to work with.

Through natural materials and textiles, children are able to immerse themselves in a full sensory experience so they are more connected to nature and their own inner creator.

On offer will be: - candle making -balm making -clay creations -tree sculpture monster trail -leaf and flower potions -As well as one very SPECIAL project for the day.

Also nourished by homemade soup and hot chocolates.

Children will keep all their creations.
