Part of the Te Anau Manapouri Fishing Classic event is aimed at kids 11 years and under to give fishing a go.

Held at McGregor Pond, on the Saturday of Labour weekend, kids have the chance of landing the big one!

Each year, McGregor Pond is topped up with 300 fish.

These are donated as smolt by Sanford in December and reared by Bill Jarvie of Te Anau Fish & Game for 10 months to pan-size before release prior to the competition.
