When it comes to touring acts, here in the deep South, we sometimes feel a bit neglected. But Ben Hurley, one of New Zealand’s most well known and well loved comedians is once again proving that the South Island matters.

He has teamed up with South Island producers Harriet Moir (Dunedin) and Hello Pecia Productions (Christchurch) and he’s heading South for a whistlestop tour to INVERCARGILL, Wanaka, Alexandra, Gore, Hanmer Springs and Hokitika.

Ben is no stranger to NZ audiences having toured the country many times and with his regular TV appearances on TaskMaster NZ, THREE’S 7Days, The Project, 7 Sharp and several NZ Comedy Fest Comedy Galas, to name just a few.

In 2024 Ben also fulfilled a life goal by commentating cricket with the Alternative Commentary Collective. Ben says “I’ve been touring this country for 24 years and, would you believe it, there are some places I’ve still never been!

I think this tour ticks every single one off”. Ben will be supported by award-winning Dunedin comedian Harriet Moir in Invercargill.
