We’re excited to welcome Te Awanga-based artist Mauricio Benega to HWT in November for six exclusive workshops inspired by his ILT Murihiku Art Awards piece, Abstract Totem! 

In this hands-on class, participants aged 10+ will dive into designing and creating their own striking wall art using adhesive vinyl—an opportunity to learn a new craft, explore creativity, and connect with whānau or meet new friends.

Over a 3 hour session, Mauricio will guide you through colour, composition, typography, and figurative design, helping you create a unique, ready-to-hang artwork to take home!
